A Spectacularly Serendipitous Saturday to ya!

undefinedThis morning I have had opportunity to look back. This Covid period in life has, on the one hand, been an extremely disruptive and for some devastating world impacting event. But serendipity, chance, karma or, my personal favorite, providence can, if allowed, utilize such life changing events to bring about serious paradigm shifts allowing us to grow, become more enlightened, be more well rounded individuals and catapult us to new planes of existence. undefinedGrowth: there are so many ways to grow when given this amount of time to freely explore our depths. New artistic endeavors, hobbies, educational achievements or just simplifying, organizing and down scaling our frenzied lives. Have you become more enlightened? undefinedHave you learned more about yourself, physically, mentally and spiritually. What have you had the pleasure to discover regarding your family and friends, your community, country and world. Have your eyes been opened to situations you were blissfully ignorant of prior to this historical time? Enlightenment is all through this pandemic if we allow the winds of serendipity to blow the scales from our eyes and the cob webs from the closed off compartments of awareness and critical thought. It would seem to me that there is great opportunity here to not be so focused on the huge struggles that we impact negligibly (visualize world peace), things that unnecessarily divide and disrupt our communities. Instead let’s reach out to our families, our neighborhoods and our cities offering a hand that impacts real lives, real family, friends and neighbors. Not organizations that have no accountability, oversight or responsibility for the disruption, division and disunity they cause but to people doing great things in the great communities you and I live in. We “buy local” to help our communities why not “donate local” as well. Don’t get me wrong. There are many charities that do WONDERFUL work all across our globe. I give to many. I just encourage you to look around you, find those things that bring growth and opportunity to others around you as well. So hopefully you are in a position this spectacularly serendipitous Saturday to reflect on how this time in history has positively affected your situation. Because we are poised for that starting gun to fire and the rat race will begin again. The only way to win is not to run. undefined

A Spectacularly Serendipitous Saturday to you!

Husband, Father and Voice Over Artist. I love to read and reading out loud so that other's, who for whatever reason can't read at a particular time, can enjoy good books. This brings me a lot of satisfaction in life.
